Martha Needs an Emmy!

Dear God,

In thine infinite wisdom, please see fit to bestow an Emmy upon the gifted actress Martha Plimpton. She is an amazing comic actress on the show "Raising Hope" (speaking of: (sub prayer) please Jesus renew Raising Hope!!)

She's owed so many back Emmys! I'm sure Helen Hunt would donate one of the 413 she won for "Mad About You."

PS: Maybe the Emmy committee is jealous Martha got to be all up on Keanu back when he was a young hot stud muffin???

PPS: There are WAY TOO FEW screen caps of Keanu in his underwear from "Parenthood."

off to the cupboard with you now, Chip. it's past your bedtime. goodnight love.

How CHUBBY Are You?

Are you having trouble knowing whether you're overweight or not? If so, tune into the Fox network's "New Girl" starring Zooey Deschanel. In it, the offbeat titular character moves into an apartment with three "dudes." One of the dudes is "hot but vain", one is "black", and one (the one above) is "chubby." Yes America, this is chubby now!!

Now I admit, it was adorable when the New Girl described the flabby character's huge protruding gut as "where he stores his extra cookies." BUT then I had a good look at him and realized I'd have to have gastric bypass several times in order to achieve a pooch so slight as the one on the TV-Fatso. Why, I bet he eats upwards of 1,200 calories a day!

If the producers of "New Girl" are looking for a pair of dudes who maybe are about to die from morbid obesity, or maybe have grown into their sofas- let me suggest two HUGE DISGUSTING podcast hosts!!! (Pictured above in all their un-glory).

They'll Never Stop "The Simpsons"

Thank GOD! There is one vestige of my childhood still on the air: The Simpsons! And with the annual pop culture/nerdlinger festival in San Diego- the show's producers were recently chatting about the upcoming 23rd season and distant future. Click HERE to read 10 new things about the Universe's favorite yellow family.

A few noteworthy notes:

- this year's Christmas episode travels 30 years into the future! Imagine Bart at 40!
- Tim and Eric (another hilarious and overweight duo) are guest stars in the upcoming season
- you can vote HERE to decide whether Edna Krabbapel and Ned Flanders should become a permanent couple
- there will be (a whole episode?) devoted to the 1,000+ year life of Moe's bar rag

There's still life in the old girl yet!

Simpsons to go on 4EVER!

And I don't care what the haters say: This is good news!

So what if the show hasn't been A+ since season 9?? Its been at least solid B material!! Better than most if you ax me!

Anyway- Fox has ordered another 2 seasons making the show's total number of episodes dangerously near 500- and how could they resist one more season and hit that mega-milestone?? God knows Kendall and I will reach 500 shows!

Christian Bale Family Guy

Okay I don't really like "Family Guy" and I hate all this shit about the tape where Christian Bale screamed at that guy, but this was pretty funny. Funny in the way that no one will remember just what this was referencing in six months way that "Family Guy" does so well. Watch and see/hear!

OMFG! 2 Davids left on AI!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!

Can U believe it?? The 2 Davids r left alone on American Idol! Even Simon can't stop them now--- Which one will win? The Daughtry one or the little one whose Daddy was just banned from backstage?@?!?

OMG!!! and they r both totally hot!!! But not as hot as the stoner who got voted off last week!! (below)

***Editor's Note:
I am really ashamed that I actually know the above information. I have never willingly sat through an entire episode of American Idol, nor do I ever plan to. It is just a sad state of affairs that my life has come to this: knowing the contestants on this show. I am really sorry. I used to at least think I was hip. I am no longer under such a delusion. The stoner one was really cute though.****

Tell Me Lies

Believe it when we tell you that a brand new episode of Cliff and Kendall: Coast to Coast is on the way!

This week we're talking all about lies. Why do we lie? How do we lie? How can you tell if someone else is lying? (Listen for Kendall's super informational explanation of how to be your own personal lie detector- and then if that gameshow "To Tell the Truth" is revived you can clean up!! Just remember your old podcasting friends when you're looking to unload some of those winnings!)

Cliff regales the world with the tale of the first lie he ever told. Kendall tries to pull one over on our listeners and even MORE.

Also, we debut the new segment "Cliff and Kendall's History Lesson" and we again venture into the fan favorite world of "Weird News!!" (You won't believe some of the strange stuff Kendall's dug up this week! Outrageous!!)

So come along, as your old buddies explore the world of bending the truth. And there isn't one mention of "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" or "Iraq is overflowing with weapons of mass destruction." Can you believe it? We forgot to get political!! You'll just have to wait for our Fourth of July Fireworks show.
